On August 30, 2008, the Blowing Trio was invited by the Tokyo Jazz Festival to give an outdoor performance at the International Forum Plazza in Tokyo, Japan.

A never-before-released version of Mark Turner's Barcelona featured in his beautiful album "In This World", and recorded by Laurent in March 2003 with Jerome Sabbagh, Brandon Owens and Damion Reid. It didn't make it to the final Like A Tree In The City for obvious length reasons. But it would have been too bad to keep it hidden...
